Going to be slow today partly because I’m on my own (Jane is struggling with a bad cold) and the weather isn’t going to be great. Quite a lot of rain forecast and I really wanted to use the table saw to build the battery box.
Still, this is good news. The water pump, accumulator and hot water heater/tank all fit easily under the section of the saloon U shaped settee nearest the galley.
This has short hose runs, keeps water far from the main electrics, means leaks will be easy to spot and maintenance will be much easier.
The disadvantage is obviously losing a useful storage locker. But for us the advantages are far more significant.
Needs some brackets to attach them and probably something to separate them from the rest of the locker so that can be used for storage.
