We stayed over into Saturday this week. Had a very comfy sleep in our aft cabin on the new mattresses.
Saturday morning was a working party at the North West Venturers Yacht Club, we are new members so joined in clearing the car park, hedges, beach of litter and overgrown stuff.
After lunch back to the jobs. Finished resealing the various fixings on the forehatch, hoping no more leaks.
Then tackled a big job and cleared the forward head.

Very glad I did. As I removed the 12 bolts from the 3 seacocks 4 snapped. So 2 of the seacocks had problems with half their bolts.
Anyway after clearing everything (pretty gross) it was interesting to see how easily the hull wiped clean with smelly dirty stuff coming straight off. Dried it with the fan heater, hopefully next time that part of the boat will be selling much fresher.
After a lovely shower at NWVYC and packing the van we joined them for the end of season social. Good food and company and an informal + encouraging talk on the their Spring Cruise in company to Isle of Mann and Northern Ireland. Lots of encouragement to get Vida afloat for next year.
